Hanskamp values the protection of the privacy of all visitors to this website. That is why we are committed to protecting your privacy to the highest extent possible. 

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will go into effect on 25 May 2018. This new privacy law is applicable throughout the entire European Union, and covers topics such as the storage and protection of personal data. This document explains how Hanskamp AgroTech B.V., hereinafter referred to as Hanskamp, processes and stores your personal data.

This privacy statement provides answers to the most important questions on how Hanskamp processes personal data.

Whose personal data does Hanskamp process?
Hanskamp processes personal data of people with whom we have, want, or have had a direct or indirect relationship. This could include data of:

  • People who show an interest in Hanskamp products, or who have purchased Hanskamp products in the past
  • People who are connected to a company or organisation with which we have, want, or have had a relationship

Who is responsible for processing my personal data?
All Hanskamp organisational units process personal data in our own CRM system.

Why do we process your personal data?
Hanskamp processes the personal data you provide. This could be necessary for things such as answering your questions, offering quotations, or improving the quality of our service. We cannot be of service to you without your personal data.

We also use your data to maintain our contact list.

Your data may also be used for promotional or marketing purposes. If you do not want Hanskamp to contact you, please click on 'unsubscribe' at the bottom of the relevant email, or send an email to info@hanskamp.nl

Hanskamp sends its newsletters by email. If you have given us permission to send you a newsletter, it will be sent to you. You can withdraw your permission at any time by unsubscribing through the unsubscribe link in the relevant email.

How does Hanskamp store personal data?
Personal data is stored with care and is not stored longer than necessary.

Who can access my personal data?
Personal data can only be accessed by Hanskamp employees. They have received instructions in accordance with the privacy law to treat the data with care.

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to provide insight into web browsing behaviour. Any information thus obtained, including your computer's address (IP address), is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. For more information, please see Google's privacy policy, as well as the specific privacy policy for Google Analytics. Google uses this information to track how our website is used, in order to provide us with reports on our website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or insofar as these third parties process the information on Google's behalf. We have no control over this. We have not authorised Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services.

What personal data do we have on you?
If you have been in touch with Hanskamp in the past and would like to see what personal data we have on file for you, you can exercise your "Right of access". You also have the "Right to rectification" to rectify data if it is incorrect. In both cases, please contact us in writing. Hanskamp is then obliged to provide you with an overview of your personal data. Your request will be processed free of charge.

How do we treat personal data?
Hanskamp treats your data carefully, safely, and confidentially. Your personal data will not be shared with third parties.

Careful
If we use your personal data, we will adhere to the applicable rules as listed in the Personal Data Protection Act in the Netherlands. In the preparation of this document we also anticipate the General Data Protection Regulation. The GDPR will go into effect on 25 May 2018. As of that date, the entire EU will fall under the same privacy legislation. The Personal Data Protection Act will then no longer apply. The GDPR reinforces and extends privacy rights.

Your personal data is safe with Hanskamp. We ensure that your data is well protected. The security of personal data is a constant point of attention in our business processes and the design of our IT environment.

The retention period of your data
The personal data you provide is stored until the data no longer has a purpose.
